Insights about the city

I planned my trip to Rome in the beginning of the last month. Im a spiritual person so before i look for any sights in the city i looked for the churches in the city. I also booked hotels Rome which is close to the churches in the city. Rome is surprisingly close to the sea and to the hills, and you don't have to travel far to appreciate completely diverse scenery. In the summer you can do what the Romans have been doing for millennia, and take a break in the nearby hills, where the air is noticeably cooler and fresher, and you may even find a breeze. My first day in the city i enjoyed this way. I left my hotel Tempio Di Pallade in Rome and after getting fresh and then strolled along the streets in the city and enjoyed every single moment in the city. Alternatively you can enjoy a day at the seaside, visiting one of the busy beaches near Rome, or finding more tranquil stretches of sand to the south. My hotels Rome was also located near to the many famous attractions in the city. Rome is one of world's most photogenic cities - not surprising when you remember what's here - The Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, St Peter's Square, Spanish Steps, Colosseum.

Churches in Rome

While strolling around the city i went to see the beautiful churches in the city. During my stay in the hotel Ariston Rome i tried to gather all the information regarding the churches, once you have all the information its easy for you to set up your plan accordingly. The most spectacular churches in the Eternal City are St. Peter’s Basilica - St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world, overlooks the square that carries the same name that was designed by Bernini and which is surrounded by a colonnade. Grandeur and majesty: this is the sensation that one gets walking up Via della Conciliazione towards Piazza San Pietro. The Sistine Chapel - This chapel owes its name to Sixtus IV, the Pope who commissioned the building of the chapel at the end of the 14th century. It was also near my hotels Rome . I enjoyed my stay in the city.

Other famous churches in the city where i visited are San Giovanni in Laterano – This is the Cathedral of Rome, the most important church after St. Peter’s. The first church was built in 314, when the Emperor Constantine gave the land to the Pope. The current building complex is made up of the Church, the Baptistery, Palazzo Lateranense, the Scala Santa and the Hospital of San Giovanni. Nearby this church i saw a marvellous hotel Scheppers Rome , which is architecturally well designed. Santa Maria Maggiore – This church stands on the Esquilino hill and is the first Roman church to be named after the Holy Virgin. Its bell tower is the highest in Rome. I felt really good after visiting all these churches in the city. Later i was dead tired and went back to my hotels Rome and relaxed.

Restaurants in Rome

Romans love to eat. Even i also love to eat and i explored many restaurants in the city . I also enjoyed the best italian food in the hotels Rome After enjoying an pleasant trip And they love to eat good food. Despite their easy-going “ whatever happens, happens” attitude, they can become really picky when it comes to food. The city centre has obviously the highest concentration of tourists so it can quite easy to fall into the tourist traps but if you see a restaurant packed with locals, go for it, as you can’t be wrong. Most likely, it will be a good place. In Rome, you’ll find out that Italians are more than just pasta and pizza. The hundreds and hundreds of restaurants of this city will delight you with all kind of gastronomic specialties. Some of the best restaurnats was also located near my hotels Rome . , where i enjoyed my food while staying in the city.
